Technology That Supports Your Eye Care

Seeing clearly is only one part of your eye health; understanding what is happening beneath the surface matters too. At ProVision, your eye exam is supported by technology that helps our doctors see more, track changes over time, and better understand your overall eye health.

This approach allows us to monitor subtle changes, support early detection of eye conditions, and provide consistent care across every visit and location

Integrated Systems for Continuity of Care

Across all ProVision locations, we use integrated practice systems, including Eyefinity, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. This helps us keep your care consistent, organized, and easy to continue, no matter which location you visit.

With shared access to your eye health history, our doctors can track changes in your vision over time, review past results, and maintain continuity from visit to visit. This supports more informed care and a smoother experience across our entire network of clinics.

Optos Wide-Field Retinal Imaging

Optos wide-field imaging allows our doctors to capture detailed images of the retina in a single scan. Compared to traditional imaging methods, this technology provides a broader view of the retina, helping identify changes that may not be visible with standard techniques.

This type of imaging supports the early detection and monitoring of conditions such as:

  • Retinal holes and detachments
  • Age-related macular changes
  • Diabetic eye disease

Optos imaging is a quick and noninvasive process. Patients look into the device while images are captured in seconds, and results are stored digitally for future comparison.needs.help you get more value from your VSP coverage while receiving consistent care across all ProVision locations.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

Optical Coherence Tomography, or OCT, uses light-based imaging to capture cross-sectional views of the retina. This allows your doctor to examine the different layers of the retina and better understand your overall eye health.

OCT is often used to monitor changes over time and can help detect early signs of conditions such as:

  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetic retinopathy
  • Macular degeneration
  • Optic nerve disorders

The scan is quick and does not involve contact with the eye. Images are reviewed during your visit and stored as part of your eye health record.re value from your VSP coverage while receiving consistent care across all ProVision locations.

Additional Diagnostic and
Vision Testing Tools

Along with retinal imaging and OCT scans, ProVision uses additional testing systems that help evaluate how your eyes function in everyday life and refine your vision prescription with accuracy.

These tools support both routine eye exams and ongoing monitoring of eye health and visual performance.

Visual field testing evaluates your full range of vision, including your peripheral (side) vision that is not always noticeable during daily activities. It helps identify subtle changes in visual function and plays an important role in detecting and monitoring conditions that can affect side vision over time.

ProVision uses digital phoropter systems, including Topcon technology, during vision testing to help determine your prescription with precision. This system allows your doctor to make refined adjustments in real time, supporting a more streamlined and comfortable exam experience while prioritizing accurate results.
